Over my 30 plus years of studying Chinese Health and Fitness systems I have become a practitioner of Acupuncture, Meridian Massage, as well as a teacher of Wing Chun Kung Fu & Qi Gong. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council, and I studied Shiatsu (Japanese Acupressure) at The British School of Shatsu-Do, TuiNa (Chinese Bodywork) at Hebei Medical University China, and TCM Acupuncture at The University of Westminster London.
I specialise in pain management, pain can be seen as any distressing sensation felt generally or in a particular part of the body. Therefore pain can range from localised itching through to dull aches and stabbing pains. So if you have back pain, head pain, neck pain, joint pain, chest pain, abdominal pain, pain due to sports injuries, any distressing sensation you feel, make an appointment to see me for an acupuncture / meridian massage treatment.
I now run my Acupuncture and Meridian Massage clinic in Sydenham, South East London alongside my Wing Chun & Qi Gong teaching.
Being treated with Acupuncture or Meridian Massage is not just about being “done to”, it is also about actively managing ones own health, where treatment is a partnership between yourself and Renzo.
Being “Health Smart” is the way you can look after your health outside of the treatment room.
One way of achieving this is by joining one of Renzo’s Wing Chun or Qi Gong classes.
You could: Go for a walk, Do some Gardening, Walk or cycle to work or the shops, Get off the bus one stop early and walk the rest of the way, Take the stairs instead of the lift
Being physically active is not about lifting huge weights or running marathons, it’s about living an active lifestyle every day.
Being physically active can help to: Improve the efficiency of the heart, Reduce the occurrence of angina, Lower blood pressure and prevent high blood pressure developing, Lower the levels of total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) in the blood, Increase the levels of HDL (good cholesterol) in blood, Decrease the likelihood of developing diabetes, Help with weight loss and long term weight management, Improve confidence and well-being
The Chinese characters show the number “Three” and the "Way". It depicts the three paths to Renzo’s profesional life which has led to his career; Qi Gong, Chinese healing techniques and Martial Arts.
